Sometimes we need more information than we can get from a physical exam of your pet. We often need to know what is going on inside your pet that they can’t tell us. Often when we need that information, we need it fast. We offer blood chemistry analysis and blood cell counts on site with results in 15 minutes or less with our IDEXX Catalyst and Procyte machines.
In addition to blood testing, we get a lot of information from analyzing your pets urine. This simple test can help us to diagnose several life-threatening illnesses and can be run in as little as 10 minutes.
We also perform microscopic examination of several areas of your pet, including ear cytology, skin scraping, fecal examination, and aspirates of masses. This can help us diagnose problems ranging from internal parasites to cancer.
In the event that further tests are needed that what we offer, we have relationships with several diagnostic laboratories to which we may send samples.
